My daughter had same day surgery for a bad hand injury, under the skillful hands of Dr Matre ( I believe that is how to spell it) and nurses CRYSTAL, DEE, BRIANNA, AND AMY excellent care was given too her, It was a long night, but all went well and she went home with her hubby. The nurses I mentioned above deserve praise for the care they extended to my daughter, along with the the team in the OR. So very thankful 🙏

Every nurse, midwife, doctor, housekeeper, roomservice worker that cared for my fiance and our newborn in labor and delivery were truly amazing. Every single caregiver seemed very experienced and knowledgable. Can't thank everyone enough for our amazing stay to welcome our new little guy.

I sadly, found myself in ER here again. Now they are checking me for a possible serious hazard, one that I had suspected may be possible and now I can at least know. I have read about this topic and hope to get an answer one way or the other. I believe God looks after me and UPMC is treating me with my needs.

My husband was recently treated in the Emergency Department (with an overnight observation) and everyone we encountered was professional and very caring. The best part, was the positive outcome and proper diagnosis by your team of PA’s. Outstanding, just outstanding. We’re visiting from Florida and that added to the anxiety going to a ER that was not known to us. Thank you for having a competent team in place! Keep up the excellent work.

Last Monday my 13 year old son was rushed by Ambulance to UPMC Williamsport. He was experiencing some dizzy spells and was very nervous. Hospital Staff in the ER a little after midnight was truly amazing. They helped him to calm down. The Dr that helped us out was Patrick Ward. I have so many positive things I really would love to say about him. But Ima make it short lol. He’s very sweet, compassionate and very passionate about what he does. I picked up nothing but positive vibes off of him. If I need to be seen in the future in the ER I promise you I only want him. Also check in at the front desk of the E R was a beautiful Women who was so sweet and kind. I didn’t get her name but she remembered me because I was back at the ER a few days later.

It has a Subway! The lobby is lovely and has a piano, for romance deuts. If it was free, that would be nice. In general, a location to avoid unless your visit is scheduled! In moments of haste, the hospital is a mostly adequate giving of care choice. You can get lost easily, but that isn't a negative, sometimes. The Eagle statue in the southern forecount is neat. Please note that results may vary. Pro tips: You will be promptly inquisitioned, typically preassment, about your payment preferences. The payment preferences will not be accurately entered into your patient file. Also, payment will typically be sent to collections before being sent to patients. Please note that individual results may vary. All mail will be sent USPS next day express to your childhood address. If not applicable, the address of residence by date least current to most current. It is probably just a panic attack. Individual results may vary. Thank you!

I left a negative review for UPMC Cardiology Department several weeks ago for lack of response and follow up. My most recent experience with UPMC Cardiology Department is GREAT!!! I called and spoke to a nurse, she took my info and question and told me that the doctor was in surgery most of the day but they would get back to me. Later that day the nurse called me and told me that the doctor did not get to my question and she was now going to submit the question with a high level of urgency. The next day around noon time the nurse called me and gave me the information that the doctor had replied back to her with. UPMC nurse was very professional, followed up and kept me in the loop on what was happening and the got me the answers that I needed as I was out of the area at the time and needed Cardiology to answer a few questions for me. UPMC showed care and compassion and got back to me fairly quickly. Glad to see that this situation was handled much better than the previous experience that I had. I felt good about UPMC Cardiology after this experience and hope to continue to have good interaction with the Cardiology team at UPMC in the future.

The building is old but well maintained. It was also free. The staff that worked with us were fantastic, especially Laurie! She went way out of her way to get wheel chairs and personally take us where we needed to be. She even came back for my husband, after my surgery, and wheeled him back to the Inn. She recruited others to help us as well. We are very grateful for her kindness.

I had a Bier block for Carpal Tunnel Surgery today with Dr Disimone. The anesthesia staff were wonderful even though I was wide awake for my surgery. Dr Disimone was awesome and I am so glad I chose him for my surgeon. In October I had the same procedure with Dr Mitra on the other hand. He refused to do the other and told me the hospital doesn't allow the procedure. As you can see, he lied because I did have it done.

Great experience in the birthplace friendly staff who go above and beyond the call to make sure you feel at home and comfortable like part of their family staff constantly went out of their way to be caring love our experience here great job!!! would recommend anyone to come here for real care for you and your family thank you upmc in williamsport the world needs more people like you !
